The people behind CloudAve live and breathe cloud computing - they've been evangelists for it over the last few years and came together to form CloudAve. Quite simply CloudAve seeks to be the pre-eminent location for commentary and analysis on all things relating to Cloud computing and SaaS.

- General commentary on work related trends

Who is behind CloudAve ?
Zoli Erdos, Editor
Zoli is a long-time Software Industry Observer & Blogger, Startup Advisor focusing on Business Applications, Collaboration, SaaS. He is also Editor of Enterprise Irregulars and Program Chair of SVASE (Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs).
In his "Life 1.0" he spent 15 years immersed in the business of Enterprise Software, in management positions with SAP, IBM, Deloitte, KPMG and the like.
Today his association with the enterprise world is mostly through the Enterprise Irregulars, a diverse group of practitioners, consultants, investors, journalists, analysts and full time bloggers who share a common passion - enterprise technology and its application to business in the 21st century. Admittedly Zoli's qualification as member of the EI is more on the irregular than on the enterprise side.
Zoli lives in the San Francisco Bay area. His personal blog is here.

What, No ads?
CloudAve was founded with the intention of being Ad free. We believe advertising on a website is distracting, reduces the impact of the core message, and creates conflicts around neutrality and independence. In order to being a high quality offering to our readership, we have obtained sponsorship from Zoho who is generously covering the cost of bringing CloudAve to the world.
So is this a Zoho blog ?
NO - The editors retain complete editorial independence and are free to write about whomever and whatever they wish. We'll let our words talk for us but we have, as a founding touchstone, the concepts of neutrality, independence and integrity.
That said we have built the blog - both the front-end platform and the back-end applications we use to collaborate, using Zoho products. This is our one and only gesture to our sponsor and also a proof-of-concept test for several SaaS tools work together.
Creative Commons Licence
Being ad-free means we don't depend on pageviews - in fact we'd like our content to reach everyone in every possible form and media. So much so, that we decided to make all our content available under a Creative Commons Licence.
Of course there are some provisos that goes along with this - bad Karma to anyone who uses our content and doesn't say thanks (or link back anyway) and seriously bad Karma to commercial usage of our material. So play nicely - read, enjoy and use - just do so within the spirit of our licence.
