We are very happy to sponsor CloudAve, a content oriented community, with a mission to advance Cloud Computing. CloudAve combines editorial content along with guest articles and user contributed content. It is envisioned as a blog, wiki and forums rolled into one.

Our contribution from Zoho is to provide the tools for this effort, and offer occasional guest posts. Zoli & Ben keep full editorial control. I want to emphasize that again: while Zoho is a key sponsor of this effort, providing tools and other support, the editorial control rests with the Cloudave team.

What is in it for Zoho? First, CloudAve's mission jives with our own, which is to advance cloud applications. Second, the community tools we provide are the same ones that Zoho customers need for their own businesses. So we get to sharpen our own applications by providing them to CloudAve.

  • CloudAve will retain full editorial independence
  • Sponsors will not mandate or censor subjects
  • Sponsors will not expect preferential coverage, 'positive only' tone
  • Editors will cover all vendors, regardless of whether their product competes with a sponsors product
  • We encourage conversation - comments, trackbacks and readers own posts
  • We will never delete comments due to content or disagreement, only in cases of spam, abuse, harassment, profanity or threat
